Dr. Rice is from Buffalo, New York. Dr. Rice did his undergraduate studies at Canisius College in Buffalo, where he studied Bio-Chemistry. He attended the University of Buffalo Medical School, and graduated in 1998. Dr. Rice did his residency at Womack Army Medical Center located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was then stationed at Fort Hood, Texas where he worked as a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Rice served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Field Physician in 2003. He was honorably discharged in December of that year.

Since then, Dr. Rice worked for the VA performing compensation and pension exams for 3 years. He also has over 17 years of experience in primary and urgent care.

Dr. Rice is married to his high school sweetheart, Heather. They have three children. In his spare time, Dr. Rice enjoys hiking.

Christine Johnson is a RN. She is Doctor Rice’s scribe and nurse. Christine has worked in every field from general nursing to pediatrics to NICU. She also worked with Doctor Rice for two years at another practice. Christine is a former US Army Nurse Corps officer and is 90% service-connected. She is the mother of three young men, Chad, Eric and Luke. When she’s not at work, you can find her at the beach!
